The faculty plays a great role in preparing modern highly qualified specialists.

There are five chairs functioning in the faculty: World Economy and International business, Information systems in Economy, Economy and Local and State Management, Higher Mathematics and Foreign Languages. Many distinguished scientists and teachers work there. Most of the young teachers are the former graduates from the Institute. The faculty enrolls about 80 staff members of whom 50 are permanent ones, 10 professors are with doctor degrees, 20 are candidates of science and the rest are assistant-teachers and senior teachers.
Trade union, youth organization, women’s committee and supervising professor’s council are functioning in the faculty. The highest body of the faculty is the Academic Council, which consists of 11 members. The most vital problems connecting with study, scientific organization of educational activity of the faculty are considered in the sessions of the Academic Council.
There is a rich, modern educational training centre equipped with the latest up to date computer’s technology. This enables to conduct lessons at a high-scientific theoretical and practical level and organize various out-class activities, sport and cultural educational events which positively affect the formation of individual professional features of the future specialists. Every chair has it’s computer laboratory and constant access to Internet. Scientific clubs are functioning in all the chairs of the faculty which join a large group of enthusiastic students of this or that subject.
On the initiative of the staff of the chair of languages annual scientific – practical conferences in English has become a kind of tradition, in which about 200-250 amateurs of languages take part and make very interesting reports. Every quarter on the initiative of the chairs of languages in collaboration with other chairs 2 or more scientific educational, cultural – linguistic club-conferences are held in the English, Tajik, Russian languages. Alongside with scientific reports, merry music, jokes, different-entertaining games, competitions are held and albums are issued in these conferences.
Short films about the life of the faculty and its students which are shot by the students themselves are shown in such conferences.
The students have an opportunity to go in for different kinds of sport in a well-equipped gymnasium and a stadium.
Our former graduates A. Karimov and A. Shoimov who are now famous in our country and in the world in such kinds of sports as sambo and boxing made their first steps in the institute.
Good study and active participation in scientific clubs, as well as participation in different educational and cultural – entertainment and events promote increasing the level of progress in study and professional development of our students.
That’s why beginning from the 3rd and 4th year of study many students actively collaborate with international organizations and after graduation from the Institute most of them work there.
Many of our former graduates continue their study in post-graduate courses and the institutions of doctoral candidacy of Great Britain, Japan, the USA, Austria, etc.
In conclusion, I‘d like to address the young people and final-year pupils with the following appeal:
If you intend to become an economist of the World’s scale with the knowledge of English;
If you dream to be a good specialist of information technology
If you want to tie your destiny with the sphere of tourism, local and state management
And at last if you feel that you posses the ability of a modern – manager, then, the best place for you to study is the faculty of Entrepreneurship and management of the Institute Entrepreneurship and Service.
